Spinach can be eaten fresh or cook and stands up well to heat, baking and sauteing. It offers a subtle, yet assertive vegetal flavor often with iron or metallic notes. Depending upon variety and maturity, Spinach can be sweet, earthy, nutty and even tangy. Use as in a salad mix or as a dark, leafy green. It is highly versatile and pairs well with spring vegetables, citrus, berries, eggs, nuts, bacon, pasta, cream and fresh cheeses. Orders placed on the website will be delivered to you at the address specified by you within seven days from the order, at the desired time.
For orders less than 100 GEL, 10 GEL is added – transportation fee.
Above 100 GEL, order delivery is free.
Delivery in the suburbs of Tbilisi (Tabakhmela, Shindisi, Tsavkisi, Kojori, Kiketi, Tskneti, Betania, Akhaldaba and other connected areas) costs 25 GEL.
The leaves will keep up to one week when wrapped in paper towels to absorb excess moisture and stored in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. It is also important to store the lettuce away from fruits such as bananas, apples, and pears as they release a natural gas which causes the lettuce to wilt.
